New TAFSEER AL-QUR’AAN page added…

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu,

I am pleased to mention that a new page has now been added to the BLOG.

All lectures will be found on this page inshaa’Allaah based upon the same rule as the 40 HADEETH page i.e. each lecture will remain on the BLOG for one week and then be removed by the latest lecture.

I will leave the 40 HADEETH page on the BLOG for another month or so and then remove it.

I am in the process of uploading info. pertaining to the science of tafseer taken from the book ‘The Methodologies of the Quranic Commentators‘ by shaykh Jamaal al-Din M Zarabozo. I am doing this as part of the introduction to the topic of Tafseer and not a seperate subject. This will of course be taught by the ustaadh inshaa’Allaah.

New Lesson beginning soon….

Assalamu ‘alaykum,

The two exams for the 40 hadith class have now been completed by the will of Allah (swt). All results will be given back on the 18th of May 6pm. We will also be going through both papers. For those who did not attend the exams can take advantage of this opportunity to have a brief overview of what was studied throughout the course.
The new class will therefore start on the 25th of May insha’allah 6 pm. We will be covering Tafseer of the Qur’an with the intention to finish the entire Qur’an. This will naturally take a number of years nonetheless it is a rare opportunity to be apart of this circle as there are hardly any circles with the aim of covering the entire tafseer of the Qur’an.
Please spread the message and invite others to attend.

The first few weeks will cover topics related to the virtues of the Qur’an as well as Ulum al Qu’an/Tafseer.
